Srinagar, June 15: A Radiology Technologist from Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag has presented a research paper at the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) World Congress 2024, held in Hong Kong.
Syed Naheeda, representing the Department of Radiology, presented her paper titled “Imaging Strategies for VVF with Large Bladder Calculus,” which garnered significant appreciation from the international delegates present at the congress.
The Principal of GMC Anantnag, Professor Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb, extended her heartfelt congratulations to Naheeda for bringing recognition to the institution on an international platform.
She emphasized the importance of such academic activities and the presentation of work conducted at GMC Anantnag at global forums.
“Showcasing our research and innovations at international levels is crucial for the growth and development of our institution,” she remarked.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the first time a Principal of GMC Anantnag has permitted a faculty member to present a paper at an international level after obtaining proper permission from the Administrative Department.
The ISRRT World Congress is a prestigious event that brings together radiographers and radiological technologists from around the globe to share advancements, research findings, and innovations in the field of medical imaging.
