Give befitting reply to Pak for targeting civil populace: Madan to Security Forces

JAMMU, Oct 25: Member Parliament (MP) Jammu Poonch Constituency Madan Lal Sharma called upon the Central Government and Security Forces to foil all attempts and give befitting reply to Pakistan for ceasefire violations.
He said this, while addressing a huge gathering at Nadi RS Pura here today.
Sharma said that unprovoked shelling targeting civilian population and injuring them bears testimony to the inhumane behavior of Pakistan.
He appealed the State and District Administration to adhere the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to support internally displaced persons, who were forced to migrate due to unprovoked firing and shelling by the Pakistan rangers.
He asked the administration to carry out a detailed assessment and register all such migrants, so that proper support will be provided.
Sharma demanded suitable food, sanitary and lodging arrangements for the migrated people, construction of bunkers in border villages, relief and ration, increase in compensation at par with militancy affected victims, insurance cover to life, property, cattle and crops.
He appealed the State Government to ratify Food Security Bill, Protection for the Street Vendors and Land Reform Bill bills and implement in J&K on priority.
Sharma announced creation of 250 KVA Sub Station and development of play ground from his Constituency Development Fund.
Among others present were Suman Bhagat ex-Minister and senior Congress leader, Captain Bana Singh, PVC, Rajesh Bitto, Chairman Cooperatives, Sarpanch Bachan Singh, Hans Raj Bhagat, Ramesh Kumar, etc.
Later, MP inaugurated 250 KVA Sub Station at Village Kadyal, RS Pura. The transformer was installed under MP LADS scheme at the cost of Rs 5 lakh.
