JAMMU, Nov 22: Scintillating performances in group dance and classical vocal marked the second day of the ‘Display Your Talent’ festival organized by district administration Jammu under the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ programme at Police auditorium here today.
Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, who was the chief guest on the occasion appreciated the performances and encouraged the girl students to make best use of this opportunity to nurture their talent and excel in their chosen fields.
In the Group Dance, 1st position secured by GGHSS, Canal Road, 2nd position went to GGHSS, Satwari while 3rd spot grabbed by GGHSS Channi Himmat.
In Classical Vocal, 1st prize won by Vishali Pandita of GGHSS, Mubarak Mandi, 2nd prize by Neha Pandotra of GGHSS Mubarak Mandi and 3rd position was clinched by Nusrat Fatima of GGHS Sandhi.
