KATRA, Apr 6: A 16-year-old girl, who had gone missing after separating from his parents, in Bhawan area, was today restored to her parents by the police.
According to a police spokesman, the girl identified as Shivani Soni daughter of Khilaban Soni, a resident of Deep Nagar, Kanpur (UP), had visited Bhawan along with her relatives on April 2 and separated from them in Bhawan area.
He said that the girl was found by police team of police station Bhawan during patrolling duty. On enquiry by the police, she disclosed that she along with her relatives came at Bhawan for darshan and she separated from her relatives.
Under the guidance of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi, Sumir Kotwal, Additional SP Katra, Munish Kumar Deputy SP Bhawan and Inspector Rajesh Sharma, SHO police station Bhawan, her mother was informed accordingly through telephone regarding tracing of her daughter.
Acting on police communication, her elder sister and other relatives reported at police station Bhawan and accordingly the girl was handed over to them after proper verification of her relatives.
