JAMMU, May 6: A 21-year-old girl has been kidnapped by a youth from Purkhoo area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachack police station.
As per police sources, a family hailing from Purkhoo area lodged a complaint with police station Kanachack stating that their daughter went missing.
Later, the family came to know that their daughter has been kidnapped by Mohammad Arif, son of Gafoor Ahmed, a resident of Ramnagar, District Udhampur.
Acting over this, a case under Section 366 RPC has been registered at Kanachack police station and investigation started.
