JAMMU, Jan 31: A 23-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Digiana Camp falling under the limits of police station Gangyal.
According to police spokesperson, the girl identified as Komal daughter of Jaswant Singh, a resident of Digiana Camp, allegedly ended her life by hanging self with the hook of a ceiling fan at her residence.
On getting information from family members, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem.
Though no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the concerned police has registered a case and started investigations.
