UDHAMPUR, Aug 28: Mystery shrouded death of a girl who was found hanging with a tree near her house at village Damnot in Pancheri, here today.
The deceased, identified as Sukambari Devi, daughter of Lafu Ram of Damnot, was a student of class 11th at Damnot Higher Secondary School.
She was found hanging with a tree under mysterious circumstances. On being informed by some local, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
Even as Police has registered a case in this connection under 174 RPC for further investigation, the deceased appeared to have committed suicide for the unknown reasons.
