RAJOURI, Oct 13: A 13-year-old girl was crushed to death under an un-controlled car while a woman seriously injured at Mogla in Kalakote area of district Rajouri today.
Reports said two boys who were not trained enough, were seen moving in an Alto car in Mogla area at around 2 pm. The over-speeding car ran over a girl and woman standing on the road side and disappeared from the spot.
The locals identified both the boys on board and rushed towards the accident victims. While 13- year-old Shamim Akhtar, daughter of Ghulam Qadir succumbed on the way to Kalakote hospital, the injured young Parveen Akhtar, wife of Mohd Akhtar of Mogla with serious injuries was rushed to Sunderbani hospital where doctors referred her to Govt Medical College hospital, Jammu.
The police party registered a case and later seized the Alto car No. JK02AG/7558 while the two boys were absconding. The police was looking for them.
