UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: A girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at her residence in village Bast, tehsil Chenani.
As per police sources, Asha Devi (16), daughter of Diwakar Nath of village Bast, tehsil Chenani allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members shifted her to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Chenani, where she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last.
A case has been registered at Chenani police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind the death.
