RAJOURI, June 28: A young girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Behrote area, falling under the jurisdiction of Thannamandi police station.
As per reports, 20-year-old Tezeem Aktar, daughter of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of Behrote, Thannamandi allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to District Hospital, where doctors pronounced her as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case in this regard has been registered at Thannamandi police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
