UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: In two separate cases, a young girl and a boy were found hanging in Udhampur and Ramnagar, respectively, here today.
According to the police report, Sareshti Rawat (18), daughter of Harish Rawat, resident of Valmiki Colony, Chopra Shop, was found hanging at her house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family members, a police team from PS Rehambal reached the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Meanwhile, in another case of hanging, Sunil Singh (20), son of Kuldeep Singh of village Dhiran in Ramnagar was found hanging from a tree near his house under mysterious circumstances. The hanging body was spotted by some locals, who informed the Police.
Later, the dead body was shifted to Ramnagar Hospital for the postmortem and police has registered both the cases for further investigation.
