JAMMU, Feb 20: A young girl allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Nai Basti area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station.
As per reports, 25-year-old Reema, daughter of Ram Dass of Nai Basti allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
She was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
