JAIPUR, Aug 28: Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot today inaugurated Jagshanti Auditorium and Lata Ramesh Parekh Skill Development Center of Marudhara Industries Association at Basni in Jodhpur. He also unveiled the Entrepreneur “Logo” here.
Speaking on the occasion, Gehlot said that the State Government is committed for industrial development. “Investment in the State has increased due to our policies and industry friendly environment,” he said, adding, with 11.04 percent GDP growth rate, Rajasthan’s standing first in North India and second in the country shows our commitment.
The CM said that for the first time in the country common man has got relief with the introduction of Right to Health (RTH) Act, Rajasthan Minimum Income Guarantee, Dearness Relief Camp, OPS Restoration, Annapurna Food Packet, Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School, Indira Gandhi Smartphone Scheme, Gig Workers Welfare Fund, and Social Security schemes.
Gehlot said that together we have increased the progress of Rajasthan 4 times in 5 years. Now Mission-2030 has been launched in the direction of increasing it 10 times and making Rajasthan the head of the country in every field. He said the prestigious higher education institutions of the country are now operating in the city.
“Jagashanti Auditorium with modern facilities will make it easier for entrepreneurs to organize their seminars and other programs and the creation of Lata Ramesh Parekh Skill Development Center by K Ruchir Parekh will provide higher training to entrepreneurs and employees.
On the occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi honored 29 entrepreneurs for their special contribution in making Jagashanti Auditorium and Skill Centre. Joshi also administered the oath to the newly elected president of the association, including Dilip Soni, to the executive committee.
State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Sangeeta Beniwal, Chairman Rajasthan State Livestock Development Board Rajendra Singh Solanki, Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi president Binaka Jaish Maloo, Mayor Kunti Deora Parihar, Jodhpur City MLA Manisha Panwar and Luni MLA Mahendra were present on the occasion.
