Geelani was brain behind forced exodus of Pandits: AIMCCC

JAMMU, July 2: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) has demanded constituting the Commission of Inquiry against Syed Ali Shah Geelani who resigned from Hurriyat few days back for bringing the gun to Kashmir by misleading the thousands of Kashmiri youth and communalizing the situation in the Valley.
In a statement AIMCCC president, Desh Rattan said that it was on the behest of Geelani and other Hurriyat and Jamat leaders that Kashmir Pandits were made selective target by the terrorists in 1989-90 and afterwards and were forced to leave Valley to annex their land and other property.
He said the Geelani and his supporters sowed the anti India seeds in the Valley by exploiting the youth on the name of socalled Jehad bringing death and destruction in entire J&K. He said it was Geelani who through his speeches indoctrinated the youth to wage a war against India and also launch attacks in the Indian cities. He said the Geelani is brain behind present terrorist movement in Kashmir and the situation faced in some parts of India as well.
Rattan made an appeal to president of India and Prime Minister to constitute a Commission of Inquiry against the Geelani and his involvement in anti national activities over the years and confiscate his entire property.
