NEW DELHI: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the second quarter of 2019-20 grew by 4.5 per cent, slowest in last six years.
The GDP of second quarter of 2019-20 was estimated at Rs 35.99 lakh crore, as against Rs 34.43 lakh crore in Q2 of 2018-19, showing a growth rate of 4.5 per cent, an official statement said here on Friday.
Gross Value Added (GVA) for the second quarter of 2019-20 was estimated at Rs 33.16 lakh crore, as against Rs 31.79 lakh crore in Q2 of 2018-19, showing a growth rate of 4.3 per cent. (AGENCIES)
