JAMMU, Feb 23: The eminent personalities who have made landmark contribution in the field of water Conversation will be speaking in an international conference being organized by Government Degree College (GDC) Udhampur from February 29.
This was revealed by the organizing secretaries of the Conference, Prof Suresh Kumar Dogra and Prof Shaji Khan while interacting with media persons. They said that the Conference has been titled ‘Sanrakshan’.
Elaborating more, they said that the star speakers include C Norphel (the Glacier Man of India), R K Sinha (Dolphin Man), Sonam Lotus (Weather Man), Prof SPS Dutta (Professor Emeritus), Shyam Sunder Paliwal (the Water Man of India) and also eminent environmentalist Pardeep Dutta, Bureau Chief Times Now; Sonan Waugchuk among others.
“Saving water as a mission, GDC Udhampur has taken the initiative of organizing this International Conference to give a clear and unambiguous message to save every drop of water,” they added.
