KATHUA, May 17: Annual Prize Distribution Function was organized in Govt Degree College, here today.
Principal of the college, Prof KC Badgal who presided over the function in his address congratulated the students of the college who excelled in Academics, NCC and Sports.
He presented welcome address and Annual Report, wherein he read out the achievements of the college both in Academics and Co-Curricular activities.
He said that the college is striving hard for excelling in all the academic activities and appreciated the faculty members for their hard work in achieving exceptional results. The function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries and recitation of Saraswati Vandana by the students.
In the prize distribution function, Large number of students who excelled in Academics, NCC, NSS, Games and Sports, Display Your Talent, Debates, Symposium were honoured by presenting them with Mementoes and Track Suits.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Prof Sumanesh Jasrotia , Prof. Shikha, Jeewan Jyoti and Abhimanyu Singh.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Rakesh Singh.
