SRINAGAR, Sept 25: Government Degree College (GDC) Ganderbal defended their title by winning the 5-A Side Inter-College Women’s Hockey Tournament at the University of Kashmir. In a thrilling final, GDC Ganderbal edged out Post Graduate Kashmir University by 4-3. Goals from Bisma (2), Shaista and Night secured the victory.
On their way to the final, GDC Ganderbal recorded convincing wins against Women’s College Nawakadal and Government College of Physical Education, Gadoora.
Prof. Fouzia Fatima, principal of GDC Ganderbal, praised the team’s discipline and dedication, congratulating players and mentors for their efforts. She expressed optimism that the team will continue to achieve success in future tournaments. With this win, GDC Ganderbal reaffirmed their dominance in the competition.
