JAMMU, Aug 24: The Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members of Government College for Women Parade Ground, Jammu, today observed pen down and chalk down strike to express their strong resentment against attachment of the college Principal Dr Anita Sudan without thorough investigation into the false allegations made by the students.
They claimed that issuance of the attachment order has  demoralized the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff, who feel humiliated and insecure to take the classes of such students who are labeling baseless allegations against the Principal and the Teachers.
“The here say rumors and the vested interest of some students and other organizations have misled a few students and because of this, the entire student community of the college who are in favour of dress code, discipline and education are suffering,” they added.
It was further resolved that the pen down strike would continue tomorrow as per the call given by the College Teachers Association.
