JAMMU, May 28: Government College of Education, Canal Road Jammu, as per the directions of Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department, inaugurated three week Induction Training Programme for newly appointed Assistant Professors of different subjects.
Vice Chancellor, Cluster University Prof (Dr) Anju Basin was the chief guest on the occasion. She focussed on the importance of organising such training programmes and stressed to inculcate the new modes of teaching in classroom such as digital and flipped classrooms .
Principal GCoE, Prof (Dr) Sangita Nagari, in her welcome address, said that teaching fraternity is the back bone of higher education system and it becomes imperative for a teacher to upgrade his/her knowledge through such training programmes.
The three week Induction Training Programme will be coordinated by Dr Zubair Kales and Dr Shubhra Jamwal. Dr Raj Singh gave the formal vote of thanks
Prof Jugal Kishore Puri, Prof Baljinder Kour, Prof Sindu Kapoor, Prof Satish Sharma , Dr Jyoti Parihar, Prof Sawantater Kour, Prof Ramzan Ali, Prof Radhika Mahajan, Prof Suneeta Devi and Prof Vinod Bakshi were also present on the occasion.
