JAMMU, Feb 14: Government College of Education (GCoE) today conducted several activities in different schools with the sole objective of apprising the students about the relevance and importance of our rich culture.
The activities were conducted in Government Middle School Sarwal, Government Middle School Rehari, Government Middle School Kachi Chawani and Govt High School Pull Tawi The NSS volunteers and students, who were part of the Teaching Practice groups intermingled with the students of these schools and apprised them the necessity of preserving our cultural heritage by celebrating all the festivals like Basant Panchami.
Singing competition mainly focused on Maa Saraswati and other educational activities were conducted in all these schools by the Teaching Practice groups and NSS volunteers. This initiative of GCoE was appreciated by the heads of these schools and teaching staff.
The activities were conducted under the patronage of Officiating Principal Prof Satish and under the guidance of Prof Sarita Dogra, NSS PO, Dr Shubhra Jamwal, Dr Rupa and Prof Deepali Devi.
