LEH, (Ladakh) June 24: In connection with launch of party’s membership campaign starting from June 6, BJP national vice-president, Dushyant Gautam, State secretary & MLC Ch. Vikram Randhawa, State spokesperson & former MoS, Priya Sethi, MLC Tsering Dorjey and district president, Leh, Angchuk Dorjey addressed the party office bearers meeting here, today.
Senior leaders of the region from district and mandal team along with the membership incharges and co-incharges participated in the meeting.
Dushyant Gautam, while addressing the meeting, said that the membership drive forms the core of internal democracy in the world. He prompted all the party leaders to fully concentrate on the membership drive to strengthen organizational structure in the region. He also said that the whole BJP is like a family and the local BJP unit will have full organizational support for the task.
Priya Sethi, congratulated the local unit for the excellent results in the Lok Sabha elections in Ladakh region. She emphasized on the role of women in the party and said that the women must increase their active participation for the welfare of the women. She stressed that it is only BJP that has worked on ground for empowerment of women.
Vikram Randhawa, in his address, explained the procedure for the membership campaign threadbare. He said that all the party activists from the region must work dedicatedly to convert all the votes in favour of BJP in the region. He said that this membership will pave way for the grand success of party in future elections in the region.
Tsering Dorjey, in the meeting, complimented the people of the region for their love and support to the party in the region. He said that people of the region have full faith on the policies of PM Narendra Modi led Government and are themselves eager to join the ranks of party and thus assure the party leadership about grand success of membership campaign in the region.
