UDHAMPUR, June 17: A three- storey readymade garment showroom was gutted in fire at Dhar Road, near state Bank of India.
Even as there was no loss of life or injuries to anyone, the showroom, namely `Catwalk’ was completely gutted in the fire that broke out this morning around 7 am.
On being informed by the locals, a Police team led by SHO Udhampur, Inspector Raghubir Singh along with Incharge Fire Station Udhampur and fire extinguishing team rushed to the spot and controlled the blazes.
As it took more than an hour to control the flames, the garment showroom was completely gutted in the fire. Exact cause of fire and approximate loss could not be immediately ascertained.
