JAMMU, Nov 23: Within days of completion of the tenure of elected representatives for the Urban Local Body, heaps of garbage and litter are spread all over the place adjacent to and opposite of Manda Walking Track gate.
In a handout Manda Walkers Welfare Association has stated that these garbage piles give a very ugly look to the area and also causes inconvenience to the walkers as there is hardly any space left for them to park their vehicles.
Association office bearer Kuldip Uppal has urged upon the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to lift the garbage dumps at the earliest so that the walkers and residents of the area may heave a sigh of relief.
