VIJAYPUR, July 1: Lashing out at those who justify the anti-India statements of unscrupulous elements like Hafiz Sayed, former Minister and MLA, Chander Prakash Ganga today advocated strict action against them saying that they should be declared as “Desh drohi”.
The MLA, while speaking during a public grievances redressal camp at Bandral, today expressed deep concern over the presence of such people in the country who dare to speak in favour of anti-nationals saying that they should be punished severely.
“It becomes the moral responsible of every citizen to teach a lesson to those who support the devious elements responsible for creating a wedge among the people of a peace loving society”, the MLA maintained.
“We will not let Jammu and Kashmir to become Syria”, Ganga said in a very candid and strong manner, while making a fervent appeal to all to work collectively towards protecting and upholding the sanctity , integrity and sovereignty of our country. He appreciated the role of Dogras in this regard and was optimistic that they will serve the nation with the same valour and patriotism now when it is needed the most. “J&K is an integral part of India and no one should even dream of dividing it on the name of religion”, .
He said J&K is a unique abode of peace and tranquility where people of all faiths live in complete harmony and their age old bonding cannot be broken by anyone in the world.
Ganga said that the people of Valley, except few vested interests, want to live in peace and they do not support the anti-nationals but they are being exploited and they are being subjected to unending scars by those who can go to any extent to satiate their vested political interests. He added that BJP is also getting good response in Kashmir valley thus indicating an urge of the people of a total end to violent incidents there so that they would be able to live a normal life.
The MLA, while highlighting the development works done in the village, said that during the over three years this area has recorded tremendous expansion in terms of basic facilities. He said that the catchment area in the village would be developed as a recreational park will be constructed soon while the work on SM road in Vijaypur would also start at the earliest.
