Ganga inaugurates development works

SAMBA, Sept 16: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash today inaugurated various development works in Vijaypur Assembly constituency.
The Minister was accompanied by ACD Sushil Attri, Executive Engineer PWD, Executive Engineer REW, BDO’s of Vijaypur, Ramgarh and other officers.
The Minister inaugurated Health Sub Centre Sangwal constructed by PWD at the cost of Rs 49 lakh. He also kick-started construction work of Community Facilitation Centre being built by Rural Development Department under 13th FC at Panchayat Sangwal at the cost of Rs 30  lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that CFC will be developed as multi-utility centre which can be used for organising vocational training programmes and can also be used by local population for other purposes.
He informed that Sangwal to Thalori road has been proposed under NABARD and work is expected to start next year. He added that Government is giving significant thought towards improving key sectors like Education, Health, Roads and Skill Development. He also urged the public to take benefit from Prime Minister Social security schemes and other Central and State Government’s initiatives.
Later, the Minister also inaugurated passenger shed at Gupwal, panchayat Salmeri built under 14th FC and MGNREGA by RDD.
He also launched construction work of Pond built by RDD at the cost of Rs 10 lakh at Chak Daultan. He also held a public meeting and assured villagers that their demand of better road connectivity from Chakdaultanto Ramgarh road will be taken up under NABARD phase -II.
