SAMBA Aug 10: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today distributed free ration among border residents of Pakhri, Rangoor Camp, Govind Garh and Nanga in Samba District. These flood victims of last year were given free ration for two months only. On the initiative of the Minister, free ration distribution was started again today among the victims. The Minister interacted with the villagers and said Government is committed to provide all basic amenities to the flood affected people of the State.
The Minister asked the accompanied officers to gear up their men and machinery so that the people do not face any inconvenience. Among others ADC Samba, SDM Vijaypur, XEn PDD, XEn PHE, Tehsildar Ramgarh, AEE Flood Control, AD CAPD, SDPO Vijaypur, TSO accompanied the Minister.
