Gang of thieves busted; 3 arrested with stolen items

SAMBA, June 16: Police busted a gang of thieves with the arrest of three thieves along with stolen items.
As per police sources, on June 10 this year, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Samba by two persons namely Suresh, son of Naval Kishore and Nath Ram, son of Parbhat, both residents of Rajasthan, at present Barian Supwal stating that during the intervening night of May 29 and 30, some unknown burglars barged into their house and decamped with 3 mobile phones and cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 119/19 under section 457 and 380 RPC was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police team rounded up several suspects and finally nabbed three thieves involved in the burglary case.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ram Kumar, son of Gopi Chand, Surinder Sharma alias Sheendu, son of Shambu Ram and Kishore Sharma, son of Makhan, all residents of District Reasi.
On their disclosure, police team recovered 3 stolen mobile phones. Six more mobile phones and 1 LED TV were also recovered.
Further questioning of the accused persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
