Ganesh’s work to be displayed in Kala Gram Chandigarh

JAMMU, Nov 16: The four feet long wooden sculpture made by Ganesh Kumar Sharma, a well known sculptor belonging to village Sanoora of Samba district of the State, will be displayed at Kala Gram Chandigarh.
Ganesh’s sculpture was selected in 15-day National Wooden Sculpture Camp that held at Kala Gram. The camp which concluded yesterday was organized by North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Union Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Sixteen well-known sculptors across the country were invited in the camp, which was inaugurated by Governor of Punjab, VP Singh Badnore.
Ganesh has participated in many Sculpture camps, workshops and symposiums at State and National level. He is recipient of many State as well as National awards. His works are lying with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu, Kala Kendra Jammu, Dogra Art Museum Jammu and Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi.
