JAMMU, June 6: Welfare Committee Ganesh Vihar Suryavanshi Nagar Extension Muthi has expressed grave concern over the power failure in the area due to snag in the local transformer.
In a statement issued here, today the Committee alleged that despite its repeated pleas to authorities no steps were taken to solve the problem by replacing the damaged transformer and wires.
They warned that in case immediate steps were not taken to improve the power supply in the locality the people will be left with no alternative but to come to streets as the power failure has been a problem for the old, infirm and infants in this scorching heat.
