Gandotra pays visit to Raghunath temple, takes stock of facilities

JAMMU, Feb 20:  Inspecting the arrangements in place and daily functioning, Ajay Gandotra, president Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust (JKDT) today visited the famous Raghunath Ji temple and also reviewed many other facilities under the ambit of the Trust.
In the day-long visit, Gandotra took a detailed review of the arrangements and issued several instructions for their better functioning.
Gandotra started the round of inspections by paying a visit to the Raghunath Ji temple where he paid obeisance and prayed for peace and prosperity for the people of the Union Territory.
During his visit, Gandotra took a round of the temple complex and took stock of various facilities being provided to pilgrims and issued on spot necessary directions for the overall development of the temple premises.
Later, the president also visited other facilities of the Dharmarth Trust including Hari Bhawan, Library and Raghunath Pathshala and took stock of their functioning.
Taking note of the issues persistent at Raghunath Pathshala, Gandotra issued necessary directions for its immediate upliftment.
Meanwhile, the president of Trust has also raised serious concern over the two-wheelers parked in the temple premises for a very long time. He noted that these vehicles were seized by the Police Department and were parked in the temple premises. He observed that besides occupying the space in premises, these vehicles are also potential security threats.
The president of the Trust immediately took up the matter with in charge Police Post, Hari Market and requested him to lift all these two wheelers which are giving a shabby look to the temple premises and also addressed the grievance to the Senior Superintendent of Police for issuance of necessary instructions.
