LUCKNOW, Feb 13:
Newly inducted Uttar Pradesh minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati today alleged that Gandhi family have lost their popularity in Amethi- Rae Bareli bastion and they will feel the heat in the coming Lok Sabha elections. Mr Prajapati, who defeated Congress high profile leader Amita Singh from Amethi assembly seat in the last assembly elections, said Rahul Gandhi and his family members have always ditched the people of Amethi and Rae Bareli.
“ People have shown the Congress the doors in last assembly elections from Rae Bareli and Amethi and the so called Priyanka Gandhi’s popularity also failed to create any miracle for the party,” he told mediapersons here.
The minister of state for irrigation Mr Prajapati claimed that Congress had never cared for the people of Uttar Pradesh nor they have done anything for the development of Amethi or Rae Bareli.
“ Rahul Gandhi has always insulted the youths of the state and even termed them as ‘ Kamchor’(work thief) and now he seems to show concern for the youths,” he said while adding that youths are now with Akhilesh Yadav. (PTI)
