JAMMU, Feb 12: Galgotias University was awarded as the top Indian university for excellence in academics and global linkages at the recent DQ Cyber Media ICT Awards 2013.
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi handed over the award to Suneel Galgotia, Chancellor, Galgotias University at a glittering awards ceremony held in Delhi.
Galgotias University was recognized and feted for successfully differentiating itself from other universities in terms of its global-level academics, international pedagogy and world-class faculty drawn from the world’s finest universities and research institutions. The university was lauded for its global linkages with institutions such as Georgia Tech, Purdue University, Goethe University, The Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, Kent State University and many others in the USA and Europe, for the latest global syllabi, pedagogies, research cluster linkages.
India’s leading Corporates have flocked to the Galgotias campus in increasing numbers every year and placement is close to 100 percent as validated by media surveys.
