JAMMU, Sept 8: MLA RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat today inaugurated a series of developmental works in RS Pura constituency under various schemes.
At village Sunderpur, Dr Gagan Bhagat laid foundation stone of a lane and a drain, which was the oldest demand of the local inhabitants. Later on Dr Gagan interacted with the general public and listened their grievances.
He was also apprised of various demands pertaining to the development of the area by the villagers including requirement of Community Halls in every panchayat, construction of cremation ground road and tiling work at Rattian cremation ground, Maralia cremation ground and Darsopur cremation ground, Jinder Mehlu cremation ground and Kutub Nizam cremation ground.
Later, Dr Bhagat during a public darbaar at village Chohala announced Rs 8 lakh from the 14th Financial Commission for the upgradation of the cremation ground at village Chohala. He called upon the youths to avail the benefits of various Centrally sponsored schemes.
Tehsildaar RS Pura, Sohan Lal, SHO RS Pura, AEE PWD, concerned officers, Senior BJP leader, Karan Bhagat, BJP Mandal Pradhan, Natharam and Devender Sharma Raju were also present on the occasion.
