KOLHAPUR, Jan 28:
Union road transport and highway minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday visited Goddess Shree Mahalaxmi temple and took a ‘darshan’ of the Goddess.
Gadkari, who is on a two day visit to Sangli and Kolhapur district today visited the temple and took ‘darshan’ of’ Goddess Shree Mahalaxmi Devi.
While talking to reporters after ‘darshan’, Gadkari said that he prayed Goddess to give ‘Shakti’ to work for the people’s benefit.
State minister Chandrakant Patil, MP Dhananjay Mahadik, Bhartiya Janata Party district president Rahul Chikode and office bearers of the Western Maharashtra Devsthan Samiti were present on this occasion. (UNI)
