JAMMU, Mar 4: A deputation of All Jammu and Kashmir Gaddi Sabha led by its J&K UT youth president, Kuldeep Kumar here today called on Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary Tribal Affairs Department and raised the issues and problems being faced by the community of tribal Gaddi-Sippi community.
Kuldeep Kumar informed the Principal Secretary that there are many problems at Gaddi-Sippi Hostel in Udhampur district due to the absence of permanent staff.
He demanded provision of recreational activities for the inmates of Gaddi-Sippi Hostel in Udhampur like game-sports along with other activities.
The Gaddi leader further said that no educational tour has been organised so far for the inmates of the Hostel like has been done for the other tribal students to make them familiar with the prominent places and persons of the country.
The Principal Secretary listened to the deputation with patience and assured to redress all the issues as soon as possible.
Arun Kumar Malkan, Roshan Lal, Akaash Brahmanu and others were also present in the deputation.
