Freudenberg opens corporate centre in Bangalore

BANGALORE, June 25:  Freudenberg India, the Indian arm of German component maker Freudenberg Group, is looking for acquisitions in the industrial chemical sector and is betting bit on the Indian market for both expanding its business and attracting new talent.
Briefing reporters Jorg Matthias Grobmann, Regional Representative for Freudenberg Group in India, said with positive business development the group companies in India had yet again made an important contri bution to overall success of the group.
He said the 2012 revenues of the company in India grew 17 per cent to touch 1114 crore compared to Rs 956 crore in 2012 and the headcount rose by 520 to touch 3524 people.
‘Freudenberg successfully held its ground in a particularly challenging market environment considering macro economic factors like weakening of rupee and a general global economic slowdown,’ he said.
