SRINAGAR, Aug 16: The Srinagar administration has said that essential supplies in the district have been further replenished with fresh stocks across all categories received today.
It said fuel stocks received in the district today include 1313 oil tankers which include petrol and diesel, 391 gas tankers and 105 gas trucks with each truck carrying 310 LPG cylinders.
It further said in addition to fuel stocks the supplies received include 62 truckloads of food grains, 53 trucks of sheep, 71 trucks of poultry and 125 truckloads of vegetables.
Each truckload of food grains, sheep, poultry and vegetables contained 100 quintals of rice, 135 sheep, 1880 chicken and 100 quintals of vegetables respectively.
The administration said that this is an addition to the stocks already available in the district. It has urged the general public not to panic-shop.
