SRINAGAR: A fresh avalanche warning has been issued in many areas in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
An official spokesperson said that a medium danger avalanche warning has been issued for Baramulla, Gulmarg, Furkian-Z Gali, Kupwara-Chowkibal-Tangdhar, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kargil, Leh and Gurez Sector.
”Low danger warning has been issued for Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar Udhampur, Anantnag, Kulgam, Budgam Districts and Srinagar-Jammu National Highway,” he said. People living in these areas are advised not to move unnecessary towards avalanche-prone areas and take precautionary measures, the spokesperson added. (AGENCIES)
