Freight rates up on less position of trucks

NEW DELHI, July 13:  Freight rates for nine tonne load rose by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks.
Transporters said tight position of trucks due to bad road conditions mainly pushed up freight rates.
Delhi to Mumbai and Patna rates moved up by Rs 1000 each to Rs 31,000 and Rs 27,000.
Rates to Pune, Kolkata and Guwahati also went up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 32,000, Rs 33,000 and Rs 55,000.
