NEW DELHI, Feb 1: Freight rates for nine-tonne load for select destinations hardened by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today on tight trucks positions against busy cargo movements.

Delhi to Jaipur, Indore, Kanpur and Baroda rates rose by Rs 500 each to Rs 20,000, Rs 23,500, Rs 22,500 and Rs 26,500, respectively.
Rates to Surat, Kochi and Chennai moved up by Rs 1000 each to Rs 28,500, Rs 78,000 and Rs 70,000, respectively.
