NEW DELHI, Jan 2: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations rose by Rs 500 in the local market in the national capital here today on pick up in cargo movements against tight position of trucks.
Transporters said pick up in cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly led to the rise in select destinations freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Gwalior were up by Rs 500 each to Rs 14,500, Rs 15,500 and Rs 12,000 respectively.
