JAMMU, Dec 29: Free ration has not been distributed properly to the flood affected families in the Kashmir valley by Government and thus a great indiscrimination is done to them as they are facing a lot of difficulties.
This was stated in a joint press conference today by Sewa Singh Bali State general secretary PTU, Muzaffar Ahmed Lone from Sopore Wali Mohd Khan of Kupwara and Abdul Majid Dar provincial secretary, Kashmir Panthers Party adding that the said free ration was distributed among the influential persons at the behest of the politicians at their will.
The party has appealed the Governor to intervene in the matter personally so that the deserving flood affected families may get relief at this crucial juncture as the Kashmir valley is in the grip of cold.
In addition to this they said that there was no proper arrangements for the drinking water as well as electricity in the Kashmir valley along with Banihal, Ramban, and Gool and the masses of these areas are facing a lot of inconvenience.
It was appealed to Prime Minister for providing of sufficient security to the those candidates who have contested the recently Assembly elections on behalf of Panthers Party.
