Free multi super-speciality health camp concludes

KARGIL, July 28: Two days free multi super-speciality health camp concluded at CHC Sankoo here.
The camp was organized by Dreams for a Change Foundation/Vehilcleage Kargil in association with Paras Hospital Gurgaon Delhi NCR and Health Department of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil.
Around 1000 patients were examined by visiting super-specialist doctors of Paras Hospital (NCR-Delhi) at the premises of CHC Sankoo. 150 to 190 cardio patients were given treatment during the camp. The patients including BPL patients who were referred for major treatment by the visiting doctors will be given free treatment and surgery by Dreams for a Change and Paras Hospital NCR-Delhi in the coming days at New Delhi.
Earlier, the camp was inaugurated by Haji Anayat Ali, Chairman J&K Legislative Council in presence of Feroz Ahmad Khan, Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Mohammad Ali Chandan, Executive Councillor for Health, LAHDC Kargil, Aga Syeed Ahmad Rizvi, Councilor Sankoo, Dr Ibrahim Khan, Chief Medical Officer Kargil, Haji Mohammad Ali, President Ahle-Sunat-Waljamyat Dr Munnawr Hussain, Block Medical Officer Sankoo, Dr Nasreen Fatima and Shah Nawaz Var Founder/Chairman of Dream For A Change Foundation, district officers and prominent citizens.
Doctors from Paras Hospital Gurgaon who visited Kargil include Dr Rahul Kumar Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Sanjay Gupta Neuro Surgeon, Dr Joseph Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Muneer Ahmad Cardio Surgeon and Dr Mahesh Wadwani Cardio Thoracic Vascular Surgeon.
The medical team from CHC Sankoo and around 35 volunteers of Basij-e-Iman Team rendered their services for the smooth conduct of the camp.
