JAMMU, Apr 12: A free mega multi-speciality health checkup camp was organized today at Shri Devi Dwara Temple, Peer Mitha, by SIBA Event Management and Innovations Cooperative Limited in collaboration with the Jammu East Citizen Forum.
Held in the heart of Jammu’s old city, the Camp witnessed an overwhelming response from residents, with more than 500 individuals availing consultations, diagnostic screenings and medical advice between 11 AM and 2:30 PM.
The camp was inaugurated by Team SIBA along with prominent local representatives including Deepak Gupta (Warehouse President), Vijay Saraf (Chairman, Devi Dwara Trust), Kartar Gupta (President, Lakhdatta Bazar), Tarun Kharbanda, Raj Kumar Sodhi (Chairman & President, Gali Devi Dwara), and members of the Jammu East Citizen Forum-Anu Rajesh Gupta, Karan Singh, Manav Mahajan, Parveen Arora, Naresh Pardhan and Varun Khajuria.
The initiative brought together reputed healthcare providers offering a wide range of services under one roof. Expert consultations were delivered by Amandeep Group of Hospitals and Ujala Cygnus Hospitals, with medical professionals including Dr Wahab, Dr Tanvi, Navjot Jasrotia, Mary, Ritika and Ashiq Hussain attending to patients.
Specialized eye screening services were conducted by Goel Eye Clinic & Retina Centre, with contributions from Varun Kumar (Senior Optometrist), Anil Kumar (Marketing Manager), Ayaish Mushtaq (Optometrist) and Rohit Kumar. Dermatology consultations were provided by Dermawave, led by Dr Prakriti Sharma (Dermatologist).
In addition, hearing assessments were carried out by JK Electronic Ears, represented by Sanay and Ravinder, while physiotherapy services were offered by The Indian Association of Physiotherapists. The physiotherapy team included Dr Vishal Sharma (Vice President, JK Chapter), Dr Irfan Lone and Mool Raj.
Speaking on the occasion, Team SIBA representative Sidharth Verma Baljeet Singh emphasized that the initiative aimed to make quality healthcare accessible at the grassroots level. He noted that early diagnosis and timely intervention are essential for building a healthier society.
