RAJOURI, Feb 8: A free medical camp was organized by BMO Rajouri at Karyote village of tehsil Tannamandi.
A team of Medical Department of Rajouri block comprising of Dr Shaheen Khaliq, Staff nurse, Rumy Koser, Anganwari worker, Haseena Koser and other supporting staff provided their services during the camp at Ward No 2 at Karyote.
The ailing villagers were distributed free medicines and some cases were referred to the specialists for advanced treatment.
BMO Rajouri, Mohd Iqbal Malik, who was supervising the camp, made the villagers aware about health and hygiene issues. In his lecture, the BMO told the villagers that washing hands before and after every meal could keep them safe from many dangerous diseases.
