Free health cum medical camp organised by KCS

JAMMU, Oct 29: In order to create health awareness among the people, a health cum medical camp was organised by Kalamkari Centre Society (KCS) here today.
The camp was another Health and Wellness Initiative under community outreach project ‘Anant Gram’ and was organised under the expertise and guidance of Dr. Vinay Bhagat (MBBS, MS Surgery, FMAS).
Free medical consultation, health awareness & personal hygiene interaction and distribution of medicines & vitamins along with refreshments was sponsored by the Society.
The Society was founded by Purnima and Umang Sagar Chaudhri in 1983 and is continuing to bring improved social impact amongst the rural communities.
The Anant Gram Project at Village Panjgrain is a pilot initiative and it is Purnima Chaudhri s vision to continue the initiative at regular intervals & to scale it to other villages across social issues.
The day’s initiative was attended by local village elders, women & children along with Purnima Chaudhri, Gagan, Subash Langeh and other members of the society.
