JAMMU, Dec 22: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital in collaboration Shree Chandi Mata Sewa Trust and Corporator of JMC’s ward number 9 organized a one-day free medical camp at Ved Mandir, Amphalla today.
Thousands benefit from the free mega health checkup camp organized by a team of specialist doctors, nurses and volunteers. The patients were given free consultations Cardiology, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Gyanecology, Pediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Urology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Dental, etc.
In addition to this, free diagnostic facilities including Blood Pressure Checkup, Blood Sugar Checkup and BMI were provided free of cost to the needy patients. They were also made aware about diabetes and hypertension which is one of the most worrisome health issues prevalent in the region.
In a statement, Suneet Kumar Raina, Corporator of ward number 9 said that the health checkup camp was a part of its continuous endeavor to reach out to the underprivileged sections of the society. He said that during the camp free medicines were also provided to the needy patients.
