KATHUA, Apr 2: A free eye operation camp was conducted at Gupta Hospital and Research Centre, Kalibari.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Director, Health Services HQ Jammu, Dr Chander Parkash and Chairman, Gurudwara Parbandhak Board, J&K, Tarlochan Singh Wazir. Patients from remote areas like Bani, Basohli, Billawar, Majalta, Udhampur, Jammu and Samba availed the benefit of the camp. More than 250 surgeries were done during the camp.
Ophthalmologists present in the camp were Dr Manpreet Singh, Dr Nirbai Dogra, Dr Sanjeev Duggal, Dr Kashish Gupta and their team from Punjab. This camp was sponsored by Narinder Singh and Manjeet Singh (NRIs).
The camp was organized by president, Health Employees Welfare Association (HEWA), Jammu, Ravinder Singh Rozy along with HEWA team members, Dr Gursharan Singh Ranyal, Dr Manjeet Singh, Dheeraj Singh, Dharminder Singh, Sartaj Singh, Kulwant Singh, Dalvinder Singh, Raju, Pawandeep Singhand others.
