UDHAMPUR, Nov 3: KLSM Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital, Udhampur in collaboration with Rotary Club, Udhampur organized a free eye camp at Hari Prabhu Ashray, Gujroo Nagrota in tehsil Ramkot.
The camp, which was organized under rotary initiative for prevention of Blindness and to provide ‘Gift of Sight’ to poor patients suffering from Cataract Blindness, was inaugurated by PK Abrol, AGM, SBI (Retd). The occasion was presided over by ID Soni, chief patron of the Sanstha.
During the camp, Dr Ankur Goel along with his team examined about 130 patients, out of which 23 patients were screened for Cataract Surgery. These 23 patients will be operated free of cost at Rotary Hospital, Udhampur. The eye drops and related medicines were distributed free of cost among the patients.
General secretary of the Sanstha, Kuldeep Gupta and president of the Sanstha, SC Gupta, were also present on the occasion.
